This place is great! Very good fish! Big meaty fillets and the salad bar is great! What a nice and comfortable atmosphere to eat in.

The "All You Can Eat Perch" is an amazing deal.
Make sure to have a sweet potato as one of your sides. It is fantastic.

We try to stop here whenever we are near Traverse City...especially for the banana bread French toast❤ Their corned beef hash is homemade with chunks of potato and the beef is tender and flavorful. The service is excellent and the waitresses friendly. The only disappointment is that we were not able to buy a loaf of the banana bread to take home with us😉 Great value for the money!

Awesome place. Small and quiet with great food, but the topper was the customer service. I am a local and i know this time of year (cherry fest) is hard on all of us in the service industry. But I got great recommendations from the hostess and the server. The perch was delicious, lightly breaded and seasoned. They have a salad bar. It is small but very clean and fresh with a variety of salad options. I appreciate that the salad bar was available as a side to my entree without extra cost. I have a new favorite restaurant.

We have been frequenting this place for nearly 25 years when they were The Cottage Cafe. Nice buffet. Friendly staff. Good breakfast!
